Christmas time is coming!!:o)

Soon it will be time to go and pick a tree to put up in the house!:o) I can hardly wait...and yet...I still have some unpacking that will have to be done in order to be ready to decorate for Christmas. I know exactly what I will be doing today!:o)

I quit my job!

Well.....I quit my job at the Intelligencer after only one shift. It was much more repetitive than I had hoped it would be. My wrists are still aching today from Wednesdays shift. I just couldn't see messing my wrists up again...after spending so much at the message therapists office getting better from the carpel tunnel syndrome.

I am looking for a part time job.

Today I saw an advertisement for a part time job. So I took in a resume and within an hour and a half of dropping it off...I get a phone call for an interview. I have an appointment at 6pm tonight.

Now it has never been hard for me to find a job. There always seems to be something available when I need it and it all comes together fairly easily. Yet I still get nervous with the whole interview thing. I try to just be myself and hope for the best. Thus far I have never had an interview that didn't end in a job. I know that Jehovah will have for us the job that I need to be able to help contribute to our household needs and desires. He is so good to us. I shall update you on the job search as I know more.

It's raining!!:o(

Well...today did not go how I wanted it to go...but then neither did my life and I am pretty happy with that. I had visions of how much arranging and unpacking I would get done...and then I realized...there is nobody here to help move furniture! Drat...I shall have to wait till Rebecca gets home and she will help me. It's just a mattress and a dresser...but it is holding me up from being able to do so many other things.

So what to do? I took my shopping list out and started off. First I went to all of the second hand stores looking for a nice sturdy pot to put on the wood stove to have moisture coming into the air. (did not find that but I am not done looking yet) Then I went grocery shopping and now back home again. While I was at the store I realized that there are those nasty Trans Fats in almost everything. (or so it seemed) I picked things up that I wasn't even going to get to try to find something without them...and they are everywhere! Scary stuff.

I am SO looking forward to Christmas!:o)

Today I dug out my Christmas music and am working this week towards finishing unpacking so that we can decorate our house for Christmas. I am having lots of people here this year for a big dinner and time of fun and games together. There is so much to be done to prepare...and I am looking forward to all of it!:o)

A second dog?

Am I crazy?...no...I just love my Mom! She has wanted a dog for so long now. I have a cute little one year old red daschund here for a couple of days (his name is Rudy) and then I will be delivering it to her in Parry Sound. I don't know how much unpacking I will get done with this energetic boy here but if Shyla can just hang in there and keep him busy...I'm good to go. It is 9am....so only six more hours till I pick up Elizabeth and Snickers to go to the dog park. (my plan is to tire him out again before bedtime!)lol

Butter makes it better!:o)

This is a forward that I got...thought I would post it...cause I have always loved butter and hated margarine!lol
Pass the Butter
This is interesting . . . .Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys. When it killed the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get their money back. It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow coloring and sold it to people to use in place of butter. They have come out with some clever new flavorings. How do you like it?
DO YOU KNOW..the difference between margarine and butter? Read on to the end...gets very interesting! Both have the same amount of calories. Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams compared to 5 grams in margarine. Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard Medical Study. Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other foods. Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few, only because they are added! Butter tastes much better than margarine and it can enhance the flavors of other foods. Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than 100 years. And now, for Margarine.. Very high in trans fatty acids. Triple risk of coronary heart disease. Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cho lesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol) Increases the risk of cancers up to five fold. Lowers quality of breast milk. Decreases immune response. Decreases insulin response.
And here's the most disturbing fact...
HERE IS THE PART THAT IS VERY INTERESTING! Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC.. This fact alone was enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance). You can try this yourself: Purchase a tub of margarine and leave it in your garage or shaded area. Within a couple of days you will note a couple of things: * no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something) * it does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutr itional value; nothing will grow on it Even those teeny-weeny micro-organisms will not find a home to grow. Why? Because it is>nearly plastic. Would you melt your Tupperware and spread that on your toast? Share This With Your Friends.....(If you want to "butter them up")!

Be encouraged!

Numbers 23:19
God is not a human who lies
or a mortal who changes his mind.
When he says something, he will do it;
when he makes a promise, he will fulfill it.
I have been filled with so much heaviness lately...and it has been hard to pull out of it. I thank our Creator for giving me a hunger for His word. Today I have been encouraged and filled with hope once again.

AAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!! (and I mean it!)lol

For those of you out there that have been thru this before...bless you. We are in the process of selling our house and moving to a bigger one. We want to be able to have an office that is a separate room and to be able to still rent out a room or two. So...of course we have given it all over to God...and now we wait. Waiting is not the easiest thing in the world though...I just want to know exactly what is going on and get it over with. So that's what's new here.:o)

Never ask Grandma a question.

This one is good for a laugh!:o)

Never ask Grandma a question Lawyers should never ask a grandma a question if they aren't prepared for the answer. In a trial, a Southern small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, a grandmotherly, elderly woman to the stand. He approached her and asked, "Mrs. Jones, do you know me? She responded, "Why, yes, I do know you, Mr. Williams. I've known you since you were a young boy, and frankly, you've been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, and you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you're a big shot when you haven't the brains to realize you never will amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you."

The lawyer was stunned! Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, "Mrs. Jones, do you know the defense attorney?" She again replied, "Why, yes, I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster, too. He's lazy, bigoted, and he has a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone and his law practice is one of the worst in the entire state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women. One of them was your wife. Yes, I know him."

The defense attorney almost died. The judge asked both counselors to approach the bench and, in a very quiet voice, said, "If either of you idiots asks her if she knows me, I'll send you to prison."

News letter from 4MyCanada

REPORT FROM THE CANADA RISES TO THE CALL ROAD TRIP
__________________________________________________
So many of you have e-mailed to tell us that you tuned in and prayed along side the CALL this past Saturday! Thank you so much for rising to the CALL in the spirit - every voice in prayer counts. Once again, we find that we are landing in historic days.
We were told that there were so many people logging on for the God TV webcast that the server crashed. In one way this is sad to hear, but in another, we rejoice! Too many people that want to join in and pray! What a great problem for the planet to have.
The CANADA RISES TO THE CALL road trip was amazing. The team that travelled together from Toronto had members from Vancouver Island all the way to New Brunswick, English-Canadians, French-Canadians, First Nations, Asian-Canadians, and ages ranging from early 60's to 8yrs old! It was a truly Canadian representation and the team did excellent.

QUICK REPORT:
We began the road trip with a launch meeting in Toronto. The time went 'deep' as our hearts were prepared for what we were about to embark upon. Once we arrived in Nashville the team plunged hard into the activities all day Friday and joined in many prayer times that had been set aside to prepare the way in the spirit for the gathering on 07.07.07 (Saturday).
THE DAY:
07.07.07 started early (6am) as we gathered to join in with a 2 mile repentance walk for the sins released through the summer of 1967, and for our immorality in the western world in general. There were an estimated 40-50,000 people that joined in the walk. The street was a 2 mile sea of people praying! It was both powerful visually as well as powerful in the spirit. There was a heavy weight of God's convicting presence over all the people.
We streamed into Titan Stadium and were greeted by several tens of thousands who were already there worshiping and praying. (The peak crowd of the day was an estimated 75,000.)
The team pressed in hard core with the masses to pray for sexual purity both in the church and in society. Deep repentance went throughout the crowd and many people were set free from sexual addiction as we prayed.
We also spent a significant amount of time praying for the issue of life, repenting, and declaring the LIFE BAND COVENANT (click here to find out more) whereby we each committed to pray for the ending of abortion (using the 22 word prayer that Lou Engle wrote to replace the Lord's prayer that was taken out of schools in the late 60's), we covenanted to vote but only vote for pro-life candidates and lastly we covenanted to obey the call to be the answer to our own prayers (i.e. adopting unwanted children and providing services and support for women who chose to keep their babies).
One of the high points of the day was a point where we all renewed our personal covenant with God. Many rededicated their hearts with deep consecration, others gave their hearts for the first time. It was so powerful to be a part of this and watch lives being transformed on mass.
CANADA: The Canadian team was deeply impacted and I know each of us is carrying a deep impartation back to our respective communities, provinces and regions. The 55 on the bus were met with hundreds of other Canadians in Nashville who travelled straight to Tennessee from their home regions. Some drove from as far as Vancouver Island and Abbotsford BC!
As the team debriefed words used to describe their experiences were along the lines of:
"I will never be the same again."
"I am wrecked [a good wrecked]."
"My heart broke for the unborn, women who have had abortions and even for doctors who have performed abortions."
"It was an honour to be a part of such a clearly historic event."
We agree.

So much to be thankful for:o)

Last night I had the privilege of driving my brother and sister-in-law to the airport in Toronto to pick up my two nieces. (Amanda and Christy) They are here to stay!! They are now living with their Dad!:o) It has been years since I have seen them and I am SO happy that they are here and I can be Aunt Tammy once again. (as a side note: If anyone knows of a three bedroom house or apartment for rent...my brother is looking for a place for his family to live here in Belleville...although...I am in no hurry for them to move out...I am REALLY enjoying having them all here in my house.)

Home and still processing...

I know that "The Call" has been life changing....I am not the same today as when I left for this trip. However...I am not quite sure yet exactly how I have been affected (or infected!lol) I had one of the most amazing times with the Lord.....and with people I didn't even know existed before this trip. The team was a group of radicals from all across Canada that were very dedicated to the mission at hand. I found myself being challenged in one way or another often. More details to follow later.:o)

A wonderful forward that was sent to me: Thought it was worthy of sharing:o)

Grandma's Hands
Grandma, some ninety plus years, sat feebly on the patio bench. She didn't move, just sat with her head down staring at her hands. When I sat down beside her she didn't acknowledge my presence and the longer I sat I wondered if she was OK.
Finally, not really wanting to disturb her but wanting to check on her at the same time, I asked her if she was OK. She raised her head and looked at me and smiled. "Yes, I'm fine, thank you for asking," she said in a clear strong voice.
"I didn't mean to disturb you, grandma, but you were just sitting here staring at your hands and I wanted to make sure you were OK," I explained to her.
"Have you ever looked at your hands," she asked. "I mean really looked at your hands?" I slowly opened my hands and stared down at them. I turned them over, palms up and then palms down. No, I guess I had never really looked at my hands as I tried to figure out the point she was making.
Grandma smiled and related this story: "Stop and think for a moment about the hands you have, how they have served you well throughout your years. These hands, though wrinkled, shriveled and weak have been the tools I have used all my life to reach out and grab and embrace life. They braced and caught my fall when as a toddler I crashed upon the floor. They put food in my mouth and clothes on my back. As a child my mother taught me to fold them in prayer. They tied my shoes and pulled on my boots. They held my husband and wiped my tears when he went off to war.
"They have been dirty, scraped and raw, swollen and bent. They were uneasy and clumsy when I tried to hold my newborn son. Decorated with my wedding band they showed the world that I was married and loved someone special. They wrote my letters to him and trembled and shook when I buried my parents and spouse.
"They have held my children and grandchildren, consoled neighbors, and shook in fists of anger when I didn't understand.
"They have covered my face, combed my hair, and washed and cleansed the rest of my body. They have been sticky and wet, bent and broken, dried and raw. And to this day when not much of anything else of me works real well these hands hold me up, lay me down, and again continue to fold in prayer. These hands are the mark of where I've been and the ruggedness of life.
"But more importantly it will be these hands that God will reach out and take when he leads me home. And with my hands He will lift me to His side and there I will use these hands to touch the face of Christ."
I will never look at my hands the same again. But I remember God reached out and took my grandma's hands and led her home.
When my hands are hurt or sore or when I stroke the face of my children and husband I think of grandma. I know she has been stroked and caressed and held by the hands of God. I, too, want to touch the face of God and feel His >>hands upon my face.

I'm home!!

I just got back from an incredible time at Singing Waters in Orangeville. I forgot my bible at home (opps!).......so I had plenty of time to walk around the trails and just listen to what the Father was saying. Here's a little something that I got while wondering the property that I wanted to share:

The winds of change have come. It is no longer enough for you to remain on the outer courts. your heart will not be satisfied if you continue to live on the outskirts of my presence.
Your soul thirsts for more of me and I your daddy, long to see you walk in continuous peace. As you choose to walk in faith with humility you will not be able to outrun my blessings. It is my heart to pour out overwhelming portions of hope, joy and love to you. This is not just for you but to pass on to those around you. I will give you the strength and the courage to be my arms extended to this world. For whatever you do to the least of these, so have you also done to me.
I love you. You are precious to me. You are my daughter, in whom I am well pleased.
Your friend,
Dad

I know that this was for me....but I had a sense that it is for some others as well......so if this speaks to ya.....go ahead an claim it for yourself.:o)

Time to be stretched!lol

Click on poster to make it bigger!

Ok...so just so ya'll know.....I am attending this. I am blessed to be able to go on the bus trip with Faytene and her team...the entire ride to Nashville is supposed to be a prayer meeting......not for sleeping, reading, or listening to music...but to cry out to God for our nation.
I have met Faytene and one of her interns Tamara when they came to minister at Desert Stream once...other than that I don't know who else is going on this trip. Very much out of my comfort zone for sure. At the same time I am very much looking forward to the trip and asking God to prepare my heart in the meantime.

Update...

I just got back from Parry Sound. My brother and I went to see our Grandmother and family there. It was SO good to see everyone:o)
The doctor has said that I have carpel tunnel syndrome in my right wrist badly and is sending me to a specialist to have both wrists looked at. (Since they both hurt) I have to wait until July2nd for that appointment....and then if it is indeed carpel tunnel....I will be referred on to a surgeon. In the meantime I am not allowed to lift more than five pounds at work and I am not allowed to do repetitive tasks. I am hoping that something will be found for me to do within my department at work....I really don't want to have to cross-train someplace else to be able to have the light duties. (we shall see what happens)
I am really tired right now....which is good cause I have to get up at 4:30am to be at work for 6:00am.......so I should be able to sleep well tonight!
That's all for now as my cat refuses to sit anyplace but my shoulder....which makes typing difficult.

Bending of the thumb!

Who would have thought that one would need to bend their thumb so many times in a day. I have been repenting for my potty mouth lately. One week ago today I had to go to the hospital emerge to get a stitch in my left thumb. It doesn't hurt as much now as it did...but I just knew that I would need a stitch for it to heal properly since the cut was on the joint. (I was opening a can of cat food.....and the lid bit me) Oh yes and I also forgot how much it hurt to get a tetanus shot till then.lol
Little by little I am making my way around to every ones blog to get caught up again. This is a great way to spend a Sat. morning:o)

MY BROTHER IS HERE!:o)

My brother is here.......living with Tom and I in Belleville!!! I can't begin to tell you how happy that makes me!!!:o) I have missed him lots and lots...and now he is here!:o)

What is God doing?

Today has been a hard day. I went to work for the first time in over a week. (I have been having issues with my back/neck) The day started off great.....and within two hours my head was hurting along with my back and neck. I took several medications...with no relief. I sit here typing and wondering...what is God doing? What is going on below the surface of this body that is presently annoying me? What does He want to do in this next 21 day segment of my life? I guess I shall find out. One more day to work and then I have Thursday and Friday booked off to go spend time with Tom in Oshawa. (he has an event that he is doing sound for there and the client is paying for a hotel room) Well.....off to bed.....my body needs rest now.

P.S. My lovely dog Shyla just loves her new food!:o)

This post is for the Fido in your house!

First of all....before I get to the actualy post.....I have to say that I am shocked at myself. I had the thought of not changing the roll of toilet paper...to save time so I could get back to the computer faster to get this new post in. I was thinking of just setting the roll on top of the empty roll. For anyone that has lived with me...they will know that this has been one of my "pet peeves"...so perhaps this blogging thing is getting out of hand? No...couldn't be!

Now...here is a yummy recipe for your dog.

Canine Casserole

2 cups brown rice, uncooked
1/2 pound ground chuck hamburger
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
1/2 cup finely chopped broccoli
1. Cook the rice in a steamer
2. Steam the carrots and broccoli until tender.
3. Warm the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the hamburger and garlic and saute until cooked through.
4. Combine all the ingredients.
5. Allow to cool before serving. Store the leftovers in the refrigerator.
OK....so for some of you who have met my dog you will know that she does not get ANY people food at all! Well there is about to be a change in her life that she is really going to like. I have had to take her to the vets a couple of times due to ear infections and put those nasty drops in her ears....which she used to hate...but now tolerates because she knows that she will get a treat after enduring it. The vet said that she is allergic to her food. Which got me to investigating other options for her and since most of the typical dog foods out there have a lot of the same ingredients I decided that I would have to start to cook for her myself. Then came the poison scare in the media about the bad dog food. That confirmed it to me. So now I have a brand new book called "Real Food for Dogs"...by Arden Moore and also "Dr. Pitcairn's Complete guide to Natural Health For Dogs & Cats" by Dr. Pitcairn and Susan Hubble Pitcairn. I still have one more book on the way with recipes for my Cat also. (why should he miss out?)
The challenge in this is going to be keeping my precious ones from begging at the table. Their food and our food is going to start smelling quite the same sometimes. I really don't like it when a dog or cat begs. We will try to keep ours from doing so by not giving any tidbits or last bites from our plates. We shall see how it goes.
Well...I am off to pack for the weekend and get a shopping list for things I will need for Shyla!:o) She is REALLY gonna like her new menu!:o)
P.S. When I was out looking for a book with recipes and nutrition info (Elizabeth was with)...one lady actually asked if I was cooking dogs...I couldn't keep myself from making fun of her comment most of the rest of that night! How could one think such a thing never mind ask it??!

The Daffodil Principle

This is an e-mail I got from a friend a few weeks ago.....thought it was share worthy...tried to post it yesterday...but it got lost out there someplace in blogger land! Hope someone gets blessed by this!:o)

The Daffodil Principle

Several times my daughter had telephoned to say, "Mother, you must come to see the daffodils before they are over." I wanted to go, but it was a two-hour drive from Laguna to Lake Arrowhead "I will come next Tuesday", I promised a little reluctantly on her third call.Next Tuesday dawned cold and rainy. Still, I had promised, and reluctantly I drove there. When I finally walked into Carolyn's house I was welcomed by the joyful sounds of happy children. I delightedly hugged and greeted my grandchildren."Forget the daffodils, Carolyn! The road is invisible in these clouds and fog, and there is nothing in the world except you and these children that I want to see badly enough to drive another inch!"My daughter smiled calmly and said, "We drive in this all the time, Mother." "Well, you won't get me back on the road until it clears, and then I'm heading for home!" I assured her. "But first we're going to see the daffodils. It's just a few blocks," Carolyn said. "I'll drive. I'm used to this." "Carolyn," I said sternly, "Please turn around." "It's all right, Mother, I promise. You will never forgive yourself if you miss this experience."After about twenty minutes, we turned onto a small gravel road and I saw a small church. On the far side of the church, I saw a hand lettered sign with an arrow that read, "Daffodil Garden." We got out of the car, each took a child's hand, and I followed Carolyn down the path. Then, as we turned a corner, I looked up and gasped. Before me lay the most glorious sight.
It looked as though someone had taken a great vat of gold and poured it over the mountain peak and its surrounding slopes. The flowers were planted in majestic, swirling patterns, great ribbons and swaths of deep orange, creamy white, lemon yellow, salmon pink, and saffron and butter yellow. Each different colored variety was planted in large groups so that it swirled and flowed like its own river with its own unique hue. There were five acres of flowers.

"Who did this?" I asked Carolyn. "Just one woman," Carolyn answered. "She lives on the property.
That's her home." Carolyn pointed to a well-kept A-frame house, small and modestly sitting in the
midst of all that glory. We walked up to the house.
On the patio, we saw a poster. "Answers to the Questions I Know You Are Asking", was the headline.
The first answer was a simple one. "50,000 bulbs," it read. The second answer was, "One at a time,
by one woman. Two hands, two feet, and one brain." The third answer was, "Began in 1958."
For me, that moment was a life-changing experience. I thought of this woman whom I had never met,
who, more than forty years before, had begun, one bulb at a time, to bring her vision of beauty and joy
to an obscure mountaintop. Planting one bulb at a time, year after year, this unknown woman had
forever changed the world in which she lived. One day at a time, she had created something of
extraordinary magnificence, beauty, and inspiration. The principle her daffodil garden taught is one
of the greatest principles of celebration.
That is, learning to move toward our goals and desires one step at a time--often just one baby-step at time—
and learning to love the doing, learning to use the accumulation of time. When we multiply tiny pieces of
time with small increments of daily effort, we too will find we can accomplish magnificent things. We can
change the world ."It makes me sad in a way," I admitted to Carolyn. "What might I have accomplished if I had thought of a
wonderful goal thirty-five or forty years ago and had worked away at it 'one bulb at a time' through all
those years? Just think what I might have been able to achieve!"My daughter summed up the message of the day in her usual direct way. "Start tomorrow," she said. She was right. It's so pointless to think of the lost hours of yesterdays. The way to make learning a
lesson of celebration instead of a cause for regret is to only ask, "How can I put this to use today?"Use the Daffodil Principle.
Stop waiting.....Until your car or home is paid off
Until you get a new car or home
Until your kids leave the house
Until you go back to school
Until you finish school
Until you clean the house
Until you organize the garage
Until you clean off your desk
Until you lose 10 lbs.
Until you gain 10 lbs.
Until you get married
Until you get a divorce
Until you have kids
Until the kids go to school
Until you retire
Until summer
Until spring
Until winter
Until fall
Until you die...There is no better time than right now to be happy. Happiness is a journey, not a destination. So work like you don't need money.Love like you've never been hurt, and, Dance like no one's watching. If you want to brighten someone's day, pass this on to someone special. I just did!Wishing you a beautiful, daffodil day!Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin. Have a Good Day!

What a beautiful day outside!

Ok.....so here I am at home...in pain...so not at work. So what am I to do? I have to rest my back so it gets better....so...ignore the vacuuming and the gardens and leaves on the lawn. So here I am laying outside on my back deck with my beloved dog. In the distance I can hear a bunch of crows and think to myself...I wish they would shut up so I could hear the lovely tunes of the smaller birds as I drift off for a nap around 10ish thismorning. Then...the noise of them gets louder...so I look up and there they are chasing an owl over my yard...an owl! I could hardly believe my eyes! This poor fellow needs to sleep during the day and these nasty crows are taking turns dive bombing him and being quite loud in the process! Definitely not an everyday sighting for sure. It landed in the trees beyond the next street....and was surrounded by all the crows who were still dive bombing him in the tree. He passed by twice more while I was out there. Poor owl. I wonder what he did to deserve all of their attention!?

This is from Holly F:o) Thanks!

TWENTY PUNS

1. Two antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married. The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent.

2. A jumper cable walks into a bar. The bartender says, "I'll serve you, but don't start anything."

3. Two peanuts walk into a bar, and one was a salted.

4. A dyslexic man walks into a bra.

5. A man walks into a bar with a slab of asphalt under his arm and says: "A beer please, and one for the road."

6. Two cannibals are eating a clown. One says to the other: "Does this taste funny to you?"

7. "Doc, I can't stop singing 'The Green, Green Grass of Home.'" "That sounds like Tom Jones Syndrome." "Is it common?" Well, "It's Not Unusual."

8. Two cows are standing next to each other in a field. Daisy says to Dolly, "I was artificially inseminated this morning." "I don't believe you," says Dolly. "It's true, no bull!" exclaims Daisy.

9. An invisible man marries an invisible woman. The kids were nothing to look at either.

10. DejaMoo: The feeling that you've heard this bull before.

11. I went to buy some camouflage trousers the other day but I couldn't find any.

12. A man woke up in a hospital after a serious accident. He shouted, "Doctor, doctor, I can't feel my legs!" The doctor replied, "I know you can't - I've cut off your arms!"

13. I went to a seafood disco last week...and pulled a mussel.

14. What do you call a fish with no eyes? A fsh.

15. Two fish swim into a concrete wall. The one turns to the other and says "Dam!"

16. Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, so they lit a fire in the craft. Unsurprisingly it sank, proving once again that you can't have your kayak and heat it too.

17. A group of chess enthusiasts checked into a hotel and were standing in the lobby discussing their recent tournament victories. After about an hour, the manager came out of the office and asked them to disperse. "But why," they asked, as they moved off. "Because", he said, "I can't stand chess-nuts boasting in an open foyer."

18. A woman has twins and gives them up for adoption. One of them goes to a family in Egypt and is named "Ahmal." The other goes to a family in Spain; they name him "Juan." Years later, Juan sends a picture of himself to his birth mother. Upon receiving the picture, she tells her husband that she wishes she also had a picture of Ahmal. Her husband responds, "They're twins! If you've seen Juan, you've seen Ahmal."

19. Mahatma Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet. He also ate very little, which made him rather frail and with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath. This made him ..(Oh, man, this is so bad, it's good)..... A super calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis.

20 And finally, there was the person who sent twenty different puns to his friends, with the hope that at least ten of the puns would make them laugh.
No pun in ten did.

Oh Holly!

My fellow blogging friends....I am asking for your help in this matter. My friend Holly has a blog...a really kewl, funny and encouraging blog. Sadly however...many of her posts have only one or no comments on them. Some of you may actually remember this dear sweet soul of a woman...she did attend Desert Stream for a season of her life. (till her and her husband Pete moved out West) So if you have time....please click on her link and meet her anew and comment away! (I love it when my friends meet my friends and they become friends!)

Warning:

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin
Small Straws In A Soft Wind
by Marsha Burns April 11, 2007:

Watch carefully the demands on your time and energy. Discern those things that are truly your burden to bear. Refuse to go beyond the boundaries of your own responsibility. There will be opportunities for others to draw you into their trouble and their concerns. Unless you are truly moved by My Spirit to do something, your only obligation is to pray and release them to Me, says the Lord. And, the enemy will do his best to make you feel guilty for not doing more. Do not yield to this accusation even for a moment. Psalms 55:22 Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

This is an e-mail sent to me.......that I thought I would share with you all. Scary stuff. I have family that still uses these types of products. If you are interested in more information click on the link "fake sugar".

SWEET, BUT POISON - A MUST READ
In October of 2001, my sister started getting very sick.
She had stomach spasms and she was having a hard time getting around. Walking was a major chore.
much pain. By March 2002, she had undergone several tissue and muscle biopsies and was on 24 various prescription medications.
The doctors could not determine what was wrong with her. She was in so much pain, and so sick.she just knew she was dying. She put her house, bank accounts, life insurance, etc., in her oldest daughter's name, and made sure that her younger children were to be taken care of. She also wanted her last hooray, so she planned a trip to Florida (basically in a wheelchair) for March 22nd.
On March 19, I called her to ask how her most recent tests went,
and she said they didn't find anything on the test, but they believe she had MS.
I recalled an article a friend of mine e-mailed to me and I asked my sister if she drank diet soda?
She told me that she did.
As a matter of fact, she was getting ready to crack one open that moment.
I told her not to open it, and to stop drinking the diet soda!
I e-mailed her the article my friend, a lawyer, had sent.
My sister called me within 32 hours after our phone conversation
and told me she had stopped drinking the diet soda AND she could walk!
The muscle spasms went away.
She said she didn't feel 100% but she sure felt a lot better.
She told me she was going to her doctor with this article and would call me when she got home.
Well, she called me, and said her doctor was amazed!
He is going to call all of his MS patients to find out if they consumed artificial sweeteners of any kind.
In a nutshell, she was being poisoned by the Aspartame in the diet soda...
And l ! Literally dying a slow and miserable death.
When she got to Florida March 22, all she had to take was one pill, and that was a pill for the Aspartame poisoning!
She is well on her way to a complete recovery.
And she is walking! No wheelchair!
This article saved her life.
If it says 'SUGAR FREE' on the label;
DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! I have spent several days lecturing at the WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCE on "ASPARTAME," marketed as 'NutraSweet,' Equal,' and 'Spoonful.'
In the keynote address by the EPA, it was announced that in the United
States in 2001 there is an epidemic of multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus
It was difficult to determine exactly what toxin was causing this to be rampant.
I stood up and said that I was there to lecture on exactly that subject. I will explain why Aspartame is so dangerous: When the temperature of this sweetener exceeds 86 degrees F, The wood alcohol in ASPARTAME converts to
formaldehyde and then to formic acid, which in turn causes metabolic acidosis.
Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants.
The methanol toxicity mimics, among other conditions, multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus
Many people were being diagnosed in error. Although multiple sclerosis is not a death sentence,
Methanol toxicity is! Systemic lupus has become almost as rampant as
multiple sclerosis, especially with Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi drinkers.
The victim usually does not know that the Aspartame is the culprit.
He or she continues its use; irritating the lupus to such a degree that it
may become a life-threatening condition.
We have seen patients with systemic lupus become asymptotic, once taken off diet sodas.
In cases of those diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, most of the symptoms disappear.
We've seen many cases where vision loss returned an! D hearing loss improved markedly.
This also applies to cases of Tinnitus and fibromyalgia.
During a lecture, I said, "If you are using ASPARTAME (NutraSweet, Equal,
Spoonful, etc.) and you suffer from fibromyalgia symptoms, spasms, shooting,
pains, numbness in your legs, cramps, vertigo, dizziness, headaches,
Tinnitus, joint pain, unexplainable depression, anxiety attacks, slurred
speech, blurred vision, or memory loss you probably have ASPARTAME
poisoning!" People were jumping up during the lecture saying,
"I have some of these symptoms."Is it reversible?"
Yes! Yes! Yes! STOP drinking diet sodas and be alert for Aspartame on food labels! Many products are fortified with it! This is a serious problem. Dr. Espart (one of my speakers) remarked that so many people seem to be
symptomatic for MS and during his recent visit to a hospice, a nurse stated that six of her friends, who were heavy Diet Coke addicts, had all been diagnosed with MS.
This is beyond coincidence! Diet soda is NOT a diet product!
It is a chemically altered, multiple SODIUM (salt) and ASPARTAME containing product that actually makes you crave carbohydrates. It is far more likely to make you GAIN weight!
These products also contain formaldehyde, which stores in the fat cells, particularly in the hips and thighs.
Formaldehyde is an absolute toxin and is used primarily to preserve tissue specimens.
Many products we use every day contain this chemical but we SHOULD NOT store it IN our body!
Dr. H. J. Roberts stated in his lectures that once free of the "diet
products" and with no significant increase in exercise; his patients lost an
average of 19 pounds over a trial period. Aspartame is especially dangerous for diabetics.
We found that some physicians, who believed that they had a
patient with retino! Pathy, in fact, had symptoms caused by Aspartame.
The Aspartame drives the blood s! ugar out of control.
Thus diabetics may suffer acute memory loss due to the fact that aspartic acid and phenylalanine are NEUROTOXIC when taken without the other amino acids necessary for a good balance.
Treating diabetes is all about BALANCE. Especially with diabetics, the Aspartame passes the blood/brain barrier and it then deteriorates the neurons of the brain; causing various levels of brain damage, seizures, depression, manic depression, panic attacks, uncontrollable anger and rage. Consumption of Aspartame causes these same symptoms in non- diabetics as well
Documentation and observation also reveal that thousands of children diagnosed with ADD and ADHD have had complete turnarounds in their behaviour when these chemicals have been removed from their diet. So called "behaviour modification prescription drugs" (Ritalin and others) are no longer needed.
Truth be told, they were never NEEDED in the first place!
Most of these children were being "poisoned" on a daily basis with
the very foods that were "better for them than sugar."
It is also suspected that the Aspartame in thousands of pallets of
diet Coke and diet Pepsi consumed by men and women fighting in the Gulf War,
may be partially to blame for the well-known Gulf War Syndrome.
Dr. Roberts warns that it can cause birth defects, i.e. mental
retardation, if taken at the time of conception and during early pregnancy.
Children are especially at risk for neurological disorders and should NEVER be given artificial sweeteners.
There are many different case histories to relate of children
suffering grande mal seizures and other neurological disturbances due to the use of NutraSweet.
Unfortunately, it is not always easy to convince people that Aspartame is to blame for their child's illness.
Stevia, which is a sweet herb, NOT A MANUFACTURED ADDITIVE, helps in the metabolism of sugar, which would be ide! al for diabetics. It has now been approved as a dietary supplement by the FDA.
It is known that for many years the FDA outlawed this true sweet food," due to their loyalty to MONSANTO Chemical Company." Books on this subject are available:
EXCITOTOXINS: THE TASTE THAT KILLS written by Dr. Russell Blaylock (Health
Press 1-800-643-2665) AND: DEFENSE AGAINST ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE- written by
DR H. J. Roberts, also a diabetic specialist.
These two doctors will soon be posting a position paper on the Internet with case histories on the deadly effects of Aspartame. According to the Conference of the American College of Physicians,
We are talking about a plague of neurological diseases directly caused by the use of this deadly poison."
Herein lies the problem:
There were Congressional Hearings when Aspartame was included 100 different products and strong objection was made concerning its use.
Since this initial hearing, there have been two subsequent hearings, and still nothing has been done.
The drug and chemical lobbies have very deep pockets.
Sadly, MONSANTO'S patent on Aspartame has EXPIRED!
There are now over 5,000 products on the market that contain this
> deadly chemical and there will be thousands more introduced.
Everybody wants a "piece of the Aspartame pie."
I assure you that MONSANTO, the creator of Aspartame, knows how deadly it is
And isn't it ironic that MONSANTO funds, among others, the American Diabetes Association, the American Dietetic Association and the Conference of the American College of Physicians?
This has been recently exposed in the New York Times.
These [organizations] cannot criticize any additives or convey their link to
MONSANTO because they take money from the food industry and are
required to endorse their products.
Senator Howard Metzenbaum wrote and presented a bill! l that would require label warnings on products containing Aspartame, especially regarding pregnant women, children and infants.
The bill would also institute independent studies on the known dangers and
the problems existing in the general population regarding seizures, changes
in brain chemistry, neurological changes and behavioural symptoms.
The bill was killed.
It is known that the powerful drug and chemical lobbies are responsible for
this, letting loose the hounds of disease and death on an unsuspecting and uninformed public.
Well, you're informed now!
YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW!

More pics of my beautiful friend....:o)

Tabea, I love your adventurous spirit!

And your sense of humor!lol

My beautiful friend Tabea:o)

Since I am done my high school and am now on a week holiday from work also...when I got up this morning I thought I would start to clear out the 12 or more pages sitting in my inbox of my hotmail account. Then I came across this e-mail from my beautiful friend Tabea. She sent me her blog site address like a year ago! I had no idea what a blog was and apparently didn't take the time to investigate it either cause I don't remember seeing it.
Tabea is a young woman from Germany that God has brought into my life and I miss her dearly. I am so thankful to Him for the opportunity to miss wonderful people. She truly is a gem of a friend and I love her deeply. She has ministered to my heart on many occasions with her own sweet love for our Jesus. In fact I would say that she is madly in love with Him...which is where I want to be again. I want to focus on Him every day and see things thru His eyes so that I can be His light wherever I am. I want to be able to fade into the background so that He can shine thru more and more.
It is funny ya know (perhaps a bit of Jehovah Sneaky funny) that at the beginning of my week of holidays I am able to read thru Tabea's entire blog site and get a bit "caught up" on things over the past year and wouldn't you know it there is a section on the vacation she took with Jesus.
This is the type of person she is...get this...she took one week off from all around her to go to a monastery to spend a week with Jesus! This has encouraged me to really spend some time with Jesus this week that I have off. I have plans to go and visit people but at these places I will have times where I will be alone with Him (and Shyla) and we will all go on walks together. I want to tune into His voice more and obey even when I don't understand it. (Lord, knows that would have been a good idea last night!)

This is a couple of things I copied from her site that really touched me:

IT IS FOR FREEDOM HE SET US FREE
The blood of Jesus made me free. I am free and the only one that can bring me back into captivity is myself. I can only be bound by others or circumstances if I let them. I am free in my spirit and even if I my body would be captive, I could still be free to fly and soar if I am set on the truth. God’s word is the truth and He says that I am set free. That’s it. It doesn’t matter how I feel, it doesn’t matter how my circumstances are. It doesn’t matter what others do to me. He says I am set free. That’s what I believe. That’s who I am. I am what He says I am. He knows best. I can never be more free than I am right now already. Does this make sense? If we really get a hold of this and live it out our lives will never be the same. No, I am not becoming crazy. I ‘ve never seen more clearly than now. And I know this is nothing but a tiny glimpse. There is tons of revelation waiting for us. Straight from the heart of God. We only need to take the time so God can download it. It’s time to actually believe what the bible says.

Tonight I am having a date night with Jesus again. I LOVE IT! Candles, cookies and Jesus. There’s nothing sweeter than this. Isn’t it weird that after you have found Jesus you keep still looking for him? You can find him everywhere - in the sunset, in a thunder storm, in the face of a baby, in the old wrinkled hands of an old woman, in the fragrance of a flower, in the sound of a river, in the laughter of a child, in the beauty of silence, in the sweetness of a cookie :-) He makes it very easy for us to find him if we just go and look for him. I think he wants to be found so badly that he hides where everyone can find him who really wants to.

I loved looking thru your site Tabea! It is a treat to be able to look at the different places you have been. You are a truly gifted photographer who loves to capture what the Master Painter has posted for us in the world around us. Thank-you for being you and once again inspiring me to go further on and in with our Jesus.

I LOVE YOU!
ICH LIEBE DICH!

Lesson 16...Only four more to go!!!

Hey there peoples......ya'll are being so encouraging I thought I would share with you my poem I had to write today. I have not written a poem in many many many years!!

The place I long to go…

The place I long to go
So far from where I was born
I will say my hello
Or my heart will be forlorn
A vibrant city of Australia
Filled with the bustle and hum of activity
Tall buildings and drama
And then it’s off to the country

A journey into my heart
I see the beauty of the rock ablaze with red
Into my spirit Creator will impart
Divine mysteries ahead
Pristine surroundings
Graceful shadowy hills
Here I will get my bearings
Into the depth of my being the Lord instills

Australia beloved and cherished
Is filled with aboriginal peoples
They have not vanished
And are not in shackles
With the freedom to be who they are
It is their birthright, their heritage
The barefooted bizarre
My Creator will heal all of the damage
I had to pick three pictures and write a poem from them.....and since I am planning on going to Australia as soon as we can afford it...I decided to do it on that. I feel like I need to go there soon and know that God will provide the way in His perfect timing.:o) (without further debt! Dave Ramsey course!)lol

The Daffodil Principle:

This is an e-mail that I got I couple of weeks ago.....thought it was worthy of being shared.:o)

Several times my daughter had telephoned to say, "Mother, you must come to see the daffodils before they are over." I wanted to go, but it was a two-hour drive from Laguna to Lake Arrowhead "I will come next Tuesday", I promised a little reluctantly on her third call.

Next Tuesday dawned cold and rainy.

Until you gain 10 lbs.

Until you get married

Until you have kids

Until the kids go to school

Until you retire

Until summer

Until spring

Until winter

Until fall

Until you die...

There is no better time than right now to be happy. Happiness is a journey, not a destination. So work like you don't need money. Love like you've never been hurt and Dance like no one's watching. Wishing you a beautiful, daffodil day!Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin. Have a Good Day!

Lord, help us all!

I read this today on a friend's blog and it touched my spirit and I wanted to cry out too for the Kangaroo to hear. So I thought that I would post this on my blog too for more people to read it. The voice's of the unborn must be heard and we must respond. Please take the time to read this it is well worth the time.

Lou Engle: "HORTON GETS A CLUE--YOUNG ONES PRAYING AND PROPHESYING MUST BE HEARD!"
If you hang around the Dream King,You get into His dream stream,You join yourself to His dream team,And you do the Martin Luther King thing.
This was the poem of our heart when we launched the Justice House of Prayer (JHOP) in DC. A band of young people dared to dream and pray that another great move of justice would roll down like the waters of justice that swelled and swept away segregation in the days of that great prophet Martin Luther King, Jr. Now, once again, like the sound of many waters, God is shouting: "I have a dream! Let the unborn go free! Let them be conceived in liberty, and let them be adopted in infancy."
Dr. Seuss Book
God is communicating His big dream of ending abortion in a most profound way through the dream stream story of Horton Hears a Who by Dr. Seuss. In February 2005, one of our youth, a 15-year-old girl at the Justice House of Prayer, had a dream. In the dream she saw a large, beautiful building with the words "The Who" appearing over it. She and her sisters entered the house and began to look throughout the building until they found the attic where there was a series of old books from the past that they knew would be needed for the future. She shared her dream with the JHOP team. I knew the dream was from God, but I wondered, "What is 'The Who,' and what are these old books?"
The next morning while pondering the dream, I received a remarkable email from a man in Kansas City that included a sermon he gave several years ago on what must occur for abortion to end. He felt led to send it to me, even though he thought it was unusual that the analogy the Lord had given him was based on the Dr. Seuss book, Horton Hears a Who. When I read this, I instantly connected "The Who" in the dream with "The Who" in the book. I was immediately interested!
In this children's book written in 1954, we find an elephant whose name is Horton--and he is not a Republican! He is the prophetic Church with big ears and a large trumpet. He can hear what no one else can hear--the sound of these little people called, The Whos, who live in the microscopic town of Who-ville.
In the book, we also find a kangaroo who wants to kill all the little Whos, because he cannot see or hear them. He doesn't believe they exist. Immediately the thought came to me, "The kangaroo is the kangaroo court!"--it stands for the Supreme Court who issued the death decree of ’73 in Roe v Wade, and legalized abortion. Wow! I realized that what I was reading was a parable from the past that was now going to be used en masse, for the ending of abortion. The theme of the whole book amazingly is, "A person's a person, no matter how small!" And the remedy for the crisis is that every voice must be raised loudly and urgently to rescue all the little unborn Whos. With the kangaroo's death decree hanging over Who-ville, Horton implores the mayor "to CALL a big meeting, get everyone out, make every Who holler, make every Who shout!"
On 7-7-07, we are launching The Call again. We are summoning the church of the nation to cry out to God for the life of the unborn and the ending of abortion. So all the little Whos will gather at The Call and raise their voices, so that the kangaroo will hear and know that they are persons after all.
Quoted from Dr. Seuss' book Horton Hears a Who: (red color added by Lou Engle)
And Horton called back, "I can hear you just fine. But the Kangaroo's ears aren't as strong, quite, as mine. They don't hear a thing! Are you sure all your boysAre doing their best? Are they ALL making noise? Are you sure every Who down in Who-ville is working?Quick! Look through your town! Is there anyone shirking?"
Through the town rushed the Mayor, from the east to the west. But everyone seemed to be doing his best.Everyone seemed to be yapping or yipping!Everyone seemed to be beeping or bipping! But it wasn't enough, all this ruckus and roar!He HAD to find someone to help him make more.He raced through each building! He searched floor-to-floor!
And, just as he felt he was getting nowhere,And almost about to give up in despair,He suddenly burst through a door and that MayorDiscovered one shirker! Quite hidden awayIn the Fairfax Apartments (Apartment 12-J)(12 = government; J = Justice)A very small, very small shirker named Jo-JoWas standing, just standing, and bouncing a Yo-Yo!Not making a sound! Not a yipp! Not a chirp! And the Mayor rushed inside and grabbed the young twerp!
And he climbed with the lad up the Eiffelberg Tower.
"This," cried the Mayor, "is your town's darkest hour! The time for all Whos who have blood that is red(A connection with the Blood)To come to the aid of their Country!" he said."We've GOT to make noise in greater amounts! So, open your mouth, lad! For every voice counts!"
Thus he spoke as he climbed. When they got to the top,The lad cleared his throat and he shouted out, "YOPP!" (Young Ones Praying and Prophesying)
And that Yopp...That one small, extra Yopp put it over! Finally, at last! From that speck on that cloverTheir voices were heard! They rang out clear and cleanAnd the elephant smiled. "Do you see what I mean?...They've proved they ARE persons, no matter how small.(I believe the crux of the Abortion issue is the deception from satan that says the unborn are not people at all.)And their whole world was saved by the Smallest of All!"
"How true! Yes, how true," said the big kangaroo."And, from now on, you know what I'm planning to do?...From now on, I'm going to protect them with you!"And the young kangaroo in her pouch said,...
"...ME TOO!From sun in the summer. From rain when it's fall-ish,I'm going to protect them. No matter how small-ish!"
This Book Speaks of Abortion
Graciously, The Elijah List blasted this story February 16, 2005 (click here to view). Amazingly, the next day I received an email from a woman who said she read The Elijah List article and received three confirmations the following day at her Day Care Center. One child came in with a Horton Hears a Who backpack, a second was carrying a Who-ville doll, but the third--a ten-year-old boy--came to her and said, "Ma'am, I had a dream last night. I dreamt of Horton Hears a Who, and all the little Whos were not saying YOPP; they were crying STOP!!!"
Oh, my God, there is a massive cry being raised up from the young ones of the earth, praying and prophesying, "STOP ABORTION, STOP! STOP! STOP!!!!!!!!!!" What are the chances of this divine confirmation? Those who read this are now held accountable. The whole Church must cry out now--STOP ABORTION!
Soon after, another man connected with me and said, "My ten-year-old daughter was reading Horton Hears a Who to her little brother." She came to her father and said, "Dad, I think this book is about ending abortion." That afternoon, he read The Elijah List article on Horton Hears a Who. This man now leads our Bound4LIFE ministry.
Again, amazingly, we found out that Fox Movies is doing a major motion picture in 2008, called, Horton Hears a Who, starring Jim Carrey--on the 40th year anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the year of our critical 2008 election that must bring forth a true Pro-Life president. The Lord is shouting to the nation! Will we have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying?
A great convergence is upon us. If the Church understands the times and what God is seeking to bring forth, we can shout to the nation, before the movie comes out, that Horton Hears a Who is about the ending of abortion--so when millions of people watch the movie, they will all be thinking, "A person's a person, no matter how small--The Whos are the unborn!"
Can you see it? This is God's trumpet to the nation! God is marching out, shattering ideologies, and moving His great Mind and Heart into the earth. He moves the media and makes it His pawn. Oh, the brilliant Wisdom of God! He takes a book out of the archives of history that millions have read since 1954, pulls it out, and slams it into the present through a movie. The light penetrates the lie, the armor of the strongman is stripped away, the demon is named, and can now be cast out!
Oh God, we need a national exorcism of this spirit of death that has ruled over us for 34 years! Every voice must be counted. Buy the book! Spread it around! Start children's prayer meetings to end abortion! Support crisis pregnancy centers! May your voice be heard in your voting. Vote only for those who are truly pro-life, not those who flip-flop every few years for political expediency. Maybe God will use this movie to elect the next president of the United States. We believe the abortion issue could become the dividing line in 2008, and God will weigh every candidate in the balance on this issue. Don't vote for those who you think can be elected, vote for those who have a Wilberforce conviction. Pray for Jim Carrey to be radically saved--he could shout to the world, "This movie is about ending abortion!"
A young woman had a dream knowing nothing of the movie or Jim Carrey's involvement. She dreamt that Jim Carrey was a Christian and that he was carrying a briefcase with two books in it. The first one was called, Shaping History Through Prayer and Fasting, by Derek Prince, and the second one was a book called, Mobilizing The Army of God. Could this man and this movie mobilize a pro-life army of young people who will fast and pray for justice?
Even this week, the front page of Time Magazine shows a hand with four different-sized fetuses resting on it. The article is saying that there are more crisis pregnancy centers than there are abortion clinics in America, and that abortion is at its lowest rate since the beginning years of when abortion was legalized. In the same magazine, there is an article about Jim Carrey, and he is seeking spiritual enlightenment, but doesn't know Jesus yet. Save him, God!!!
"It is time for all the Whos who have blood that is red to come to the aid of their country, he said." Suddenly, Dr. Suess kicks out of Who-ville and into national prophecy, not even knowing it. Christians must come to the aid of America carrying the blood of Jesus, which alone can wash away our sins. It is not enough that Jesus died; the blood must be applied to the doorposts of our national guilt. Oh, that millions of Christians would plead, "Jesus, I plead Your blood over my sins and the sins of my nation. God, end abortion and send revival to America." Go to www.Bound4LIFE.com to see how you can be a part of a mass movement of pleading the Blood of Jesus over our nation.
The YOPPS Must Be Heard
The voices of Jo-Jos just bouncing their yo-yos must now be heard. The Jo-Jos are Christians who are enjoying their comfortable careers, but are oblivious to the crisis. They are the youth in our Church youth groups who play with their iPods and who browse in their Windows. While living for entertainment, they have no idea that they were meant to be a part of God's great movement to end abortion! Their voices must be heard now!!! Let Myspace® and You Tube™ become their Eieffelberg towers from which they shout out their YOPPS and their STOPS.
Why would God give this dream stream to a group of young people who pray everyday in front of the Supreme Court calling on God to raise up righteous judges who will reverse Roe v Wade? To encourage hearts and release a movement through their prayers! So that it will be said:
"How true, yes, how true," said the big kangaroo, "and from now on you know what I am planning to do? From now on I am going to protect them with you!"
Brothers and sisters, let us believe that the Supreme Court will protect all the unborn little Whos, that God's big dream will come true, and that all the Whos' dreams could come true too.
It is profound that in the dream, the young lady saw not just one book, but a series of old books needed for the future. Read Horton Hatches an Egg. It is about a bird who wants to go play, rather than sit on her egg. So Horton, the elephant again, sits on the egg until the egg hatches. When the egg hatches, out comes, not a little baby bird, but an elephant with wings.
The moral of the story is this: he who cares for the unwanted child--that child will take on the nature of the one who cared for it. It is the spirit of adoption! God is calling the Church to adopt and care for the unwanted children in the nation. We have got to be Jesus' love answer. We can't just be pro-birth we must be pro-life!
Recently, a young man heard me preach on adoption. He came to me and said, "Two days ago, my wife and I adopted an African American child. Two weeks before, a lesbian couple was going to adopt that child, but the adoption process fell through." I was gripped by their testimony! That child's life will be changed forever!
God is shouting though Horton Hatches an Egg, "Who will care for the babies?" Homosexuals are adopting by the thousands. They believe that it is their time. Do they, perhaps, want the children more than we do?
Let the prophetic Church arise and carry the heart of Heaven! Let them hear The Call for united fasting and prayer on behalf of those who have no voice! Let the prophetic Church hear what the world can't hear, and may they blow the trumpet once again, declaring, "God has a dream, and we have His dream, and millions will be mobilized to become the river of justice rolling down again...."
