Christmas time is coming!!:o)

Soon it will be time to go and pick a tree to put up in the house!:o) I can hardly wait...and yet...I still have some unpacking that will have to be done in order to be ready to decorate for Christmas. I know exactly what I will be doing today!:o)

I quit my job!

Well.....I quit my job at the Intelligencer after only one shift. It was much more repetitive than I had hoped it would be. My wrists are still aching today from Wednesdays shift. I just couldn't see messing my wrists up again...after spending so much at the message therapists office getting better from the carpel tunnel syndrome.

I am looking for a part time job.

Today I saw an advertisement for a part time job. So I took in a resume and within an hour and a half of dropping it off...I get a phone call for an interview. I have an appointment at 6pm tonight.

Now it has never been hard for me to find a job. There always seems to be something available when I need it and it all comes together fairly easily. Yet I still get nervous with the whole interview thing. I try to just be myself and hope for the best. Thus far I have never had an interview that didn't end in a job. I know that Jehovah will have for us the job that I need to be able to help contribute to our household needs and desires. He is so good to us. I shall update you on the job search as I know more.

It's raining!!:o(

Well...today did not go how I wanted it to go...but then neither did my life and I am pretty happy with that. I had visions of how much arranging and unpacking I would get done...and then I realized...there is nobody here to help move furniture! Drat...I shall have to wait till Rebecca gets home and she will help me. It's just a mattress and a dresser...but it is holding me up from being able to do so many other things.

So what to do? I took my shopping list out and started off. First I went to all of the second hand stores looking for a nice sturdy pot to put on the wood stove to have moisture coming into the air. (did not find that but I am not done looking yet) Then I went grocery shopping and now back home again. While I was at the store I realized that there are those nasty Trans Fats in almost everything. (or so it seemed) I picked things up that I wasn't even going to get to try to find something without them...and they are everywhere! Scary stuff.

I am SO looking forward to Christmas!:o)

Today I dug out my Christmas music and am working this week towards finishing unpacking so that we can decorate our house for Christmas. I am having lots of people here this year for a big dinner and time of fun and games together. There is so much to be done to prepare...and I am looking forward to all of it!:o)
